HOME SWEET HOME
I just received a call from my transport company, they will be delivering my car tomorrow morning between 8:00 am and 12 noon. Once the car comes I get very busy unloading all my stuff and putting things away. Before I get involved with that BIG JOB I thought this would be a good time to bring my blogging buddies up to date.

My flight home was uneventful, plane took off on time and arrived on time. Incidentally, they now only serve hot or cold drinks, no more pretzels or peanuts. Guess they figure they can save a bundle that way.

The only excitiment I had on the plane was when the young man sitting next to me opened up the overhead compartment and a cane rolled out and hit me on the head!! I could have done without that experience.

Now that I am home have been trying to find out where the light switches are, where my good knife is and where the pots and pans are, After all, I have been away four months and it takes time to adjust. The older I get the more time it takes to adjust! Or maybe that hit on the head did me in.

When I talk to my friends who have been going back and forth to Florida over the years, we all say the same thing, "it's getting harder and harder, sooner or later we will decide to either move there permanently or stay up North. I know what I will do, I'll stay up North.

It's starting to get real hot in Florida now and stays that way until October. I'm a lucky snowbird, I leave when the kitchen gets hot and can enjoy summer, spring and fall here in Massachusetts.

It's good to be home!
