I want share the sad news that my mother, Millie Garfield, passed away on Thursday at the age of 99. We were with her and able to say goodbye just before she peacefully took her last breath.
We’d like to thank the staff at Brooksby Assisted Living in Peabody, Mass, her personal aid Ana, along with the staff at Care Dimensions, who provided palliative and hospice care at the end. We really appreciate all their support.
She also had fun with her video blog ‘I Can’t Open It’, where she showed how hard it was for older people to open things.
She was a positive shining light in our lives and we will miss her. 
A Chapel service will be held at Brooksby Village Chapel Wednesday, November 20 at 11:00AM 300 Brooksby Village Drive, Peabody, MA 01960 The interment will be held following services at Anshe Sfard Cemetery, 16 Buxton Road, Danvers, MA 01923.
